Project Description
This arrived to me as a family instrument that hadn’t been played for an extremely long time and variously kept in boxes, mantelpieces, fireplaces and drawers for a good portion of it’s life.
For all that, it was in pretty good condition considering that it is over 200 years old, aside from the built up grime.
It’s a boxwood, silver and ivory 4 keyed flute but Astor and Horwood, made sometime around 1813.
